Chip Bachara
Having grown up in the construction industry working as a laborer through high school and college for his father’s homebuilding company, Chip Bachara obtained a degree in building construction from the University of Florida in 1982, and a general contractor’s license the following year. He went on to graduate from Mercer University Law School and focused his practice on construction law before it was a true legal specialty. After spending 20 years practicing law with a large national law firm, he founded Bachara Construction Law Group in 2007. Chip has tried dozens of construction cases to verdict in federal and state courts and in arbitration representing trades, contractors, owners and governmental entities. He also serves as an arbitrator and mediator for construction cases. Chip and his firm have been recognized by Forbes Magazine, Chambers & Partners, Florida Trend, Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers as one of the top construction lawyers and construction law firms in the state of Florida.
