Glazing Executives Forum Addresses Labor Shortage and Supply Chain Issues

About 165 glass industry representatives gathered at the Glazing Executives Forum, Sept. 13 in Atlanta, to discuss some of the top challenges facing glazing firms today, from the ongoing labor shortage to risk management, and from market uncertainty to lingering supply chain difficulties. The Glazing Executives Forum, now in its 15th year, is organized by the National Glass Association and held in conjunction with GlassBuild America.

Economist: ‘We Are Looking Forward to Years of Growth’

While the overall U.S. economy may see a deceleration in growth in 2022, the North American glass industry can expect “a pretty appealing runway” with “years of growth,” says Connor Lokar, senior forecaster for ITR Economics. Lokar delivered the economic forecast address on Sept. 13 during the 15th Annual Glazing Executives Forum, held in conjunction with GlassBuild America.
