Façade Tectonics Institute Joins NGA’s Blueprint for Collaboration Program for Architects at GlassBuild 2025

Blueprint for Collaboration

The Façade Tectonics Institute (FTI) will bring its expertise in high-performance façade design to GlassBuild America 2025, joining the Blueprint for Collaboration program—an architect-focused, AIA-accredited education track hosted by the National Glass Association (NGA), GlassBuild America show organizer. Blueprint for Collaboration provides ongoing education for architects and others in the building industry, with a full day of AIA-accredited programming in which architects can earn up to 4.5 LUs, all at the GlassBuild Main Stage.

FTI’s panel, “Face It: The imperative of increasing indoor thermal resilience and façade thermal performance,” takes the GlassBuild Main Stage from 2:15 - 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4. The session explores how smarter façade strategies can boost building resilience, comfort, and code compliance in the face of climate change and evolving energy standards.

Panelists will unpack new 2024 IECC envelope thermal bridging requirements, high-performance building mandates from early-adopter cities and states, and how these intersect with Passive House and Thermal Energy Demand Intensity benchmarks. Through case studies and practical insights, attendees will learn how to design façades that are not just code-compliant, but resilient, efficient, and future-ready.

Architects can attend Blueprint for Collaboration for free, using promo code Blueprint25 at registration.
